# Introduction

Autopilot is an on-chain automation system for **veAERO** and **veVELO** holders.\
It manages voting, claiming, and swapping across epochs with no manual input required.

When a user deposits their veToken (AERO or VELO), the system:

* Allocates votes to the most rewarding pools across supported protocols
* Claims bribes, fees, and rebase rewards
* Converts earned rewards to USDC
* Makes rewards available to claim at any time

Autopilot operates fully on-chain and never takes custody of user assets.\
All logic is executed through smart contracts, built for capital efficiency, reliability, and seamless performance across **Base** and **Optimism** networks.
